President of Out-a-Box Parenting, Inc., author, consultant, educator, facilitator, parenting coach, and (perhaps most importantly) mother of four, Christie Clarke shares the joys, challenges, insights, and humor from decades of lessons learned in the School of Life. As a certified classroom teacher with experience in 5 states, Christie’s work in preschools, detention centers, alternative and college prep high schools set the stage for the development of Out-a-Box Parenting, Inc. Now OBP, Inc. provides “Solutions for Daily Living with Children.” It’s available for classrooms, homes, scout troops, churches, daycare centers...anywhere there are children. Universally applicable and simple to use, these tools put the fun back in communication and the joy back in living. Her extensive training and her personal experiences with her own children and students mixes with her positive and often humorous views of parenting to make the classes she leads informative, practical, and fun. She also utilizes other resources to create a variety of other classes dealing with sibling rivalry, teenagers, allowance, chores, coaching your child to success, Grandparenting, and more. In meeting after meeting and workshop after workshop, she found an appreciation of these concepts as they applied to human beings – not just parents. all about communication. In each coaching conversation (over
the phone or in person), she addresses specific issues and challenges,
as well as working to reach long-term goals thus ”making
